Crafted from durable, high-quality, industrial-grade silicon and sourced from some of the semiconductor’s most reputable long-life LED suppliers, our LED signs guarantee extended lifespan and robust performance, as compared to alternatives in the market.

Primarily designed for indoor use, it's important to note that standard LED neon is not waterproof. Despite claims by some companies, applying a water-resistant coating won't guarantee watertightness and may in some cases reduce the lifespan of your sign due to corrosion and short circuits. This option is viable only if the sign is well-protected from outdoor elements.

Our artisanal handblown glass neon signs are naturally waterproof and made from the highest quality silica glass tubing. Contrary to popular belief, the gasses inside the tubes, known as inert or noble gasses are not dangerous or harmful in any way. They do not produce heat as they operate at a low power and there is little risk of fire. If the neon glass tube breaks, the harmless gas escapes and an open circuit exists, so no current flows between terminals. However, as they are made from glass, they should be sited out of the reach of children and others who may accidentally “bump” them, causing glass shards, similar to a broken fluorescent tube.

Our LED signs are rated for 50,000 hours of continuous use, similar for most LED devices. In the unlikely event there is a failure, it typically occurs with the transformer/circuit board or controller, for which a low cost replacement can be supplied if outside the warranty period. Once the LED's have reached their lifespan, there is no way to replace them, as they are individually surface-mounted soldered to the rope substrate. What will be observed is some LEDs will switch off or flicker as they approach end of life. This will result in dark spots along the rope, before eventually all LEDs will fail.

Glass neon signs are rated for 75,000 hours of continuous use. However, once they reach the end of their lifespan, they can be re-gassed (filled with fresh neon gas and re-sealed) by a specialist glass blower. Occasionally, the electrical terminals inside the glass tube may have been oxidized if they have been exposed to the elements for a long time, so these too may need to be cleaned or replaced. This means that your glass neon sign can last decades if maintained properly. This is one of the reasons glass neon signs command a premium over standard LED Signs.

Our LED & glass neon signs are powered by long-life, direct current, low voltage, low current transformers. It is very important to note that the transformer that is provided with your sign is the ONLY approved transformer to power your sign. If you attempt to power your sign with a different transformer, you will void your warranty and risk causing serious damage to your sign. We provide the correct plug type and voltage transformer rating based on your shipping region. The power cord has a total length of 3 meters (10 feet) from sign to socket, giving you flexibility to hang it wherever you choose.

All cables, connectors and plugs are tested and rated and comply with regional electrical safety requirements. Changes or replacement of  any component will automatically void your warranty and may create a fire or electrical hazard. 1. Cost: As you may have noticed, LED neon signs are a budget friendly alternative to traditional handblown glass neon. They create that neon aesthetic without hurting your wallet. They are a popular choice amongst consumers and small businesses.
   Winner: LED neon
   
2. Applications: LED neon is only meant for indoor use (despite what some other companies might claim and have you believe). That means if you wish to have your sign installed outdoors where it may be exposed to rain, heat, cold, sun, glass neon is the ideal solution. It is naturally waterproof, and will not experience any issues if soaked.

3. Installation: Glass neon signs are not a simple plug-and-play installation like LED signs are. They will most likely require an electrician to connect the wiring and install the sign. LED neon signs on the other hand can be installed in under 5 minutes using a couple screws or double sided tape.

Brightness: Although our LED Signs are the brightest in the industry due to the high quality industrial LED's we use when creating them, some colors (primarily Red & Blue) are not as bright as their glass counterparts. If you plan on having your sign in direct sunlight or in a brightly lit environment, glass neon may be the better option.

5. Durability: This is where LED neon wins out. As they are made from silicone rather than glass, they can be easily transported, bumped into, or carried around without much risk. Although glass neon has a longer lifespan, they are extremely fragile, and therefore may not be the ideal material if you have small children/pets, or plan on taking the sign with you to conventions or events.

6. Lifespan: Glass neon has a lifespan of 75,000 hours of continuous use. Once this lifespan is reached, it can be refilled with neon gas, and serve another 75,000 hours. If maintained properly, a glass neon sign can last decades. LED neon on the other hand has a lifespan of 50,000 hours, after which point the sign will start having LED's fail. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about restoring it to its original glory.

7. Dynamic: Glass neon light color is determined by the type of gas and color of the glass tube which contains the gas. LED neon lights are determined by the type of material used as a diode along with the silicone rubber sleeve that covers and protects that LED rope. In general, the colors for both glass and standard LED neon are fixed. However, in the case of RGB LED neon, the diode comprises three distinct materials, with three primary colors - red, green and blue. However, by changing the electrical signals to each of these components, alters the power and intensity of each and permits us to “blend” the three base colors in real time and therefore “change” colors, giving for light-changing LEDs.

Unlike glass neon signs, our LED signs do not require professional maintenance or installation. They are designed to be simple to install and come with a plug-and-play wiring solution. If ordering an extra-large neon sign (180cm and over), it might be advisable to consult a specialist before installing onto drywall or plasterboard particularly as our large signs might come in 2 pieces and you need to make sure that the wall is strong enough to bear the weight of the signs. Also, having someone help with alignment helps to get it right the first time.

Glass neon signs come disassembled to allow special packaging so as to reduce the risk of being damaged during shipping. We highly recommend having an electrician to take care of the installation and connecting the wires and testing the product. In some countries, this is a legal requirement so you need to do your research. Most problems that we learned about with glass neon signs was the difficulty in unpacking and assembling which caused the signs to break or crack. This is really disappointing and could have been easily fixed by getting a specialist to do the install.

Glass neon: YES! Glass neon signs can be installed both indoors and outdoors as they are naturally water resistant and generate very little heat. Your qualified electrician will be able to assist with placement and ensuring wiring is properly insulated and will work without an issue in all weathers.

LED neon: NO! They are only meant for indoor use and should not be installed outside. We can apply a water resistant coating to your sign but it will not make it waterproof and would only be suitable if the sign is placed well protected from the elements outside. Think of it like a water resistant watch - it can take some splashes and weather, but unlike waterproof, you can’t go swimming with it!

Plenty of companies claim that their LED neon signs are meant for outdoor use, but that is simply not true. They will eventually leak around the silicone edges and once water gets inside the rope, it will corrode and short the electrical connections. You have been warned!  If you wish to install your sign outdoors, we recommend using glass neon as it will last for years and will shine brightly without issues.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds or returns as all our signs are made to order. Although this allows you the freedom to design each sign and approve the artwork to your liking, Once your design is approved by you for manufacture, there’s little we can do to change or alter your request. Fortunately, we will work with you until you get things just right and that you are 100% happy with the sign you’ve designed and the order that you’ve placed.

Once an order is placed, we cannot alter or cancel it, as we prioritize efficient and prompt service. We start processing and fulfilling orders immediately to ensure swift delivery, making changes or cancellations impossible once the order is in progress. As your order is as unique as you, there’s nothing that we can do to resell or reuse that sign.

While it's highly unlikely due to our meticulous packing and testing procedures before dispatch, if, by rare chance, your sign arrives damaged, please take immediate action by contacting the shipment carrier within 3 days to initiate a claim.

Upon filing the claim, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order. Provide the shipping claim number along with photographic and video evidence. The white, the warm white, and RGB color changing are made in a white tube. The color of the tube only minorly changes the color of the light.

While gold does not exist we can have a color that resembles gold by using yellow LED with white tube or yellow LED with yellow tube and we will choose according to what we feel will give the best result. If you'd like any changes to your custom or pre-set design with regards to color, please let us know ahead of placing your order.

Our signs come in a range of sizes, starting from 60cm (2ft), all the way to over 300cm (10ft). If you need a custom size, don't hesitate to reach out.

Our minimum height requirement per letter is 10cm. There are restrictions to how small the neon can be cut, and how tightly it can be bent. Smaller sizes are possible, but we generally recommend to stick with a minimum size of 10cm/letter as that allows us to achieve the optimal results.

Our glass neon signs come standard without an acrylic backing, and are installed directly onto the wall.

LED neon signs require an acrylic backing to hold the shape of the sign together. We can offer a cut to square, cut to shape or hollow out acrylic backing, however it will still be slightly visible, and will limit your installation options.

If you have your heart set on not having any backing, we recommend the glass neon option.

We would love to be able to offer these options at no extra charge, however RGB color changing LED neon is much more expensive than the single color variant, and is therefore more expensive.

Glass neon signs take our highly skilled artisan team about 3x longer to make than a standard LED neon sign, and the cost of the materials (high quality silica blowing glass, highly pure neon gas, and transformer) are much higher than their LED counterparts. They also require extra packaging to ship securely.

If you're looking to install your sign outdoors, we recommend using glass neon rather than LED. Glass neon is waterproof and is suitable for all applications. LED neon is not.

We've seen many companies advertising their LED signs as waterproof, when that is simply not true. LED neon signs are meant for indoor use only. What these companies do is use a cheap sealing spray (a clear glue of sorts) which does not adequately protect it from the elements, and after a couple months, tends to wear off. Despite what you might think, that doesn't qualify as an outdoor neon sign. Once the water finds a route inside the LED rope, it will easily penetrate it, cause corrosion and ultimately create electrical shorts, destroying your sign, LED by LED.
